What is rigging used for?
Rigging comes from rig, to set up or prepare. Rigging is the equipment such as wire rope, turnbuckles, clevis, jacks used with cranes and other lifting equipment in material handling and structure relocation. Rigging systems commonly include shackles, master links and slings, and lifting bags in underwater lifting.

• Training Method: Classroom/Virtual
• Duration: 3 Days
• Training Schedule: By Request/In Session

The objectives of this course are to:
1. Identify the safe practices required before starting the lift and during the lifting.
2. Understand the safety factor of lifting accessories and equipment
3. Understand the requirements of applicable legislation to lifting and rigging operations
