Kwara 2020/2021 Recruitment: Qualifying Examination Exercise In Fedpoffa CBT Center Orderly- Says Applicants


Recall that the Kwara State Government had made its intention to recruit more teachers to fill the positions under the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board and Teaching Service Commission accordingly.

The qualifying examination exercise started on Monday 22nd February, 2021 to Thursday 25th February 2021.

The applicants scheduled to write their qualifying examination at the Polytechnic Computer Based Center shared their experiences with the pointoutnews correspondent on ground

Omotosho Shola from Oro, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State said the examination waa just to test one's Intelligent Quotient (IQ) and not that difficult. She added that the applicants just need to be conscious of time allotted for each question. The CBT center is good and everything was well coordinated.

Rashidat Keji from Offa said the conduct was very good and there were much questions relating to education which is in line with the teaching profession. She added that the Polytechnic CBT center was well organised.

Speaking further on the experience, Emmanuel Dosunmu, a first class graduate of University of Ilorin said the examination was okay and lively. The questions were somehow cheap and easy to pass while Bello Oyewole who had Bsc in Physics from Unilorin said the examination process was well managed and quite interesting.

The Polytechnic Director of ICT, Engr. Dr. Abdul-Azeez Ajao said the Polytechnic CBT center was able to conduct the examination using about 250 connected computer system that ran for several sessions.


Speaking on Covid-19 compliance, he said "we ensure the social distancing order, we provided hand washing facilities and sanitizer for all applicants.

He stressed further that the applicants were controlled to avoid rowdiness and the environment was serene without any distraction.

He added that the electricity was supplied by both center generator and central generator and all the staff of ICT center were around to participate in the coordination of the exercise while the software provided smooth deployment of the CBT.

He therefore commended the Management led by Dr. Lateef Olatunji for providing necessary support the center needed for effective operation.
