These happenings are not ordinary.

"A good business man must know how to read the signs of times" says a wiseman

These unfortunate and cascading trend of events points to certain directions, two directions, 1. the government is scared of the bandits whom we understand are mercenaries, or 2. there is a grand plan to use these as a smokescreen for something more sinister to come.

If with all the resources at the President's disposal he cannot safeguard lives and properties, then there is certain doom courting the nation. Even the governors with alarming security votes, we should be seriously worried.

I just read the following post by someone from somewhere about Nigeria.

The President was informed
.

The information got to him at 11:00pm on that fateful day.

He placed a call to the Deputy Governor of the State and told him tersely "... if by 10am the next morning, your sons in the Niger Delta do not release the hostages, grass shall not grow in that Region for the remaining part of my four years Presidency.. "

The deputy Governor went into the creeks that night to negotiate the release of the hostages.

They were released at 9:00am the next day.

They were Italians, British and French.

That President was Olusegun Obasanjo.

That deputy Governor was Goodluck Jonathan.

His boss, Gov. Diepreye Solomon Peters Alamieyesiegha was not in the country.

The State is Bayelsa State.

Power is called Power because it dictates strong leadership, and purposeful direction.

Not what is going on at this PMB's Government?

No strong leadership and political will...

Just leadership by press statements.
