A girl named Mary has spent all of her life in a
Black and White room,wearing a black and
white dress,she even eats black and white
(coloured)food.
To sum it up; she has never seen another
colour except black and white.
She has a Black and White TV; and every day
she spends about 4 hours watching a
documentary about colour.
She learn about how rainbows are formed,
how many coluors there are, and also how
certain colours mix to produce other colours.

Note: All this is still from a black and white
television.

Then one day the door to her house
mysteriously opens and she steps outside
to the real world of many colours.

The question is:
When Mary steps outside; has she learned
anything new about colour?
