Staff of NYSC Anambra State have been sensitized on public service ethics and values.

Speaking during the opening of the 1 day training, with the theme, Public Service Ethics and Integrity
Building, held at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu today, The Director NYSC South East Area Office, Alhaji Ahmed Wada Ikaka emphasized that staff of the Scheme owe it a duty to protect the image of the organization.


Ikaka advised the Zonal and Local Government Inspectors to restrain themselves from engaging in acts capable of causing embarrassment to the noble scheme ,but rather continue to embrace the virtues of integrity, patriotism, teamwork and commitment, which are the core values of the National Youth Service corps.


Anambra NYSC Coordinator, Mr Kehinde Aremu had earlier expressed his delight at receiving the Area Director while adding that observance of public service ethics and integrity building bring about efficiency and progress in organizations.


The Resource Persons, all from the South East Area Office included Dr Agbor Ndoma,( Deputy Director) , Mrs Ben Ushie Ifeoma(Assistant Director) and Mr Eze Christopher( Assistant Director), while participants included Assistant Directors/Heads of Branches in the State, Zonal and Local Government inspectors.
