Meet The Six Remaining Female Airforce Pilots In Nigeria by efogator(f): 9:02pm On Mar 07, 2021
After the demise of Miss Arotile Tolulope, a female Airforce pilot, there are still other six elite female pilots that we have in the Nigerian Airforce and they can be tagged "Women of war"

Follow me as I introduce these six female pilots to you:

1. Fleet Lieutenant Blessing Liman

She became the first female pilot of the Nigerian Airforce when she was commissioned in the year 2011 as flying officer. Fleet Lieutenant Blessing Liam is a native of Zango Kataf in Kaduna state. Presently, she is a pilot of presidential Air Wing.

2.Flying Officer Genevieve Nwaogwugwu,

She joined the Nigerian Defence Academy in the year 2011 and she graduated in the year 2016 after her graduation she was posted to Kaduna to do her ground training for 3 months and later, she went to South africa to complete her training. She works as a Pilot of 307 Executive Airlift Group. Presently she is a co-pilot of Nigeria's first all-female intelligence, surveillance and Reconnaissance operation.

3.Flying Officer Olubunmi Ijelu

She joined the Nigerian military formation through the influence of her father. Flying officer Olubunmi Ijelu graduated from the Nigeria Defence Academy in the year 2017 and she completed all her training in the year 2017 before she join the Air force operation fully.

She started flying in January 2018 and since then she has been serving in various aspect. She is now the Captain of the first Nigeria all-female intelligence, surveillance and Reconnaissance operation in the year 2020.

4.Flying Officer Kafayat Sanni

She is the first female fighter jet pilot in West Africa. She is a very good pilot and as a result of her skill, the then COAS in charge prompted her 18-months training under the aviation industry programme.

5.Winged female helicopter pilot Chinelo Nwokoye

She is the second helicopter combat pilot of the Nigerian Airforce. She joined the service of the Nigerian Airforce in May 2020 after completion of her training in United State and Nigerian.

6.Flight Lieutenant Chika Ani

She is also an important member of the Nigerian female Airforce pilot crew.
