The ever ending road construction has really caused stress ,hardship and high cost of transport to the people of ikorodu at large .

It becomes so boring on a Monday morning when what comes to your mind is the hours that will be spent coming out of ikorodu to your place of work.
A journey of just 40 minute becoming a journey of three to four hours. The people of ikorodu have cultivated the habit of waking up as far as 3.00am in order to meet up with the resumption time of 8.00 am
However , the only option was to either board the BRT or join an okada whose price range fall between N500 to N2000 depending on your direction and even with that you might still be an hour late or more .
The authorities in charge are on the BRT lane waiting for offenders who will use the lane.

It become so worrisome when two couples left home the same time but different direction the husband was herding towards mainland while the wife was going to Abeokuta .

Fortunately the wife got to Abeokuta by 11am while the husband 12.30pm after they both left home by 8.30am

The authorities in charge should ensure that the construction company meet up with the stipulated time.

The ability to adapt to any situation is an inbuilt trait of human beings in general. It is unfortunate that the current governor of Lagos seems at a loss on what to do to handle the worsening traffic situation in the state.
