Yesterday, someone made a post relating to the heat wave currently in Nigeria. Here is the post link: https://www.nairaland.com/6450279/what-causing-too-much-heat

This is the negative impact of greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere by the burning of fossil fuels from automobiles, generators, and chemical processes carried out in factories and power plants. One of the most important human impacts on the
environment is the rapid increase in greenhouse gas (GHG) which includes carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide(N2O), chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and hydrocarbons (HFCs) (Giwa, 2014).

This has caused climate change across the globe such as winter storm that happened in Texas, US and claimed more lives in February 2021, droughts, floods, increase in ambient temperature in Nigeria currently, and crops' failure and food shortage experience in the growing season in Nigeria. We should reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions and develop suitable solutions to tackle climate change. One of the major constituents to this is carbon dioxide (CO2). We should encourage the planting of trees to absorb CO2 and other emissions ( methane, nitrous oxide, chlorofluorocarbons etc) from the atmosphere.

WHO estimates that between 2030 and 2050, climate change is expected to cause approximately 250000 additional deaths per year globally, from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea and heat stress alone; this was estimated to translate to direct damage costs to the health of between USD 2-4 billion per year. The data and information from this report require climate emergency and sustainable solutions to climate change. This has a negative impact on the health and agricultural sectors.

The negative impact of GHGs on agriculture and food security, especially in tropical and subtropical regions is expected to increase the risk of hunger by additional 80 million people by 2080 in Africa and Southern Asia (Odjugo et al., 2001). We should advert this now by developing climate change mitigation strategies.

Extreme high air temperatures contribute directly to deaths from cardiovascular and respiratory disease, particularly among elderly people. In the heat wave of summer 2003 in Europe for example, more than 70 000 excess deaths were recorded(2) (WHO report). This high temperature cause heat stroke and other diseases. To stay safe, the following listed below will help you a lot.

Due to climate change, there is an increase in ambient temperature in Nigeria especially in the Northern part of Nigeria.

For those in Abuja and North,

1. Drink more water.
2. Stay in cool places.
3. Go to swimming pool and relax.
4. Eat a lot of fruits to remain healthy.

Maintaining a proper ambient temperature is very necessary to your health.

One more thing to add, for those of us who are yet to build houses or are about to buy or build one, please consider planting trees in your house.

It could be two of your favourite fruits.

Yeah! The Climate is Changing! The truth is that there is nothing man can do about it.
All these things we hear the UN and other organizations say they wanna do to rectify is a waste of time and Resources!

The truth is that the End of this age is upon us and what we see happening in atmosphere are the Signs of the Coming of JESUS. All these things are live in the Holy Bible.

Instead of the UN and other organizations wasting resources on so called Climate change, they should read their bibles and tell the Nations and people to get ready for the Coming of the Master..
