We are recruiting for the role of Zonal Security Coordinator

Location: Port Harcourt

Remuneration: Highly Competitive Salary + HMO + Pension

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Conduct regular patrol of fiber routes to prevent sabotage, criminal and accidental damage of fiber optic cable, and functional engagement with communities hosting fiber infrastructure with a view to sensitizing them to own and protect fiber infrastructure within their communities.
• Supervise and enforce first level patrol of fiber routes by segment fiber management contractors
• Implement security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) developed by the Head office
• Prepare analytical and statistical reports on security operations and activities
• Conduct security survey of critical facilities to determine the level of security threats and exposure
• Ensure that all incidents are investigated and reported to the Regional Security Operations Lead in line with approved procedures
• Respond to inquiries, investigation and resolve security-related problems
• Supervise and review the work and monitor performance of staff responsible for patrol exercises
• Conduct security briefings and security awareness to security staff and other Airtel staff
• Assist to facilitate routine training of security guards on security policies and procedures
• Conduct periodic site visits to assess and verify deployment of adequate security officers/ guards at all business locations and ensure optimal service delivery
• Monitor Service Level Agreement (SLA) with security service providers
• Ensure that incidents and crisis are proactively and promptly identified, managed, and mitigated effectively
• Ensure timely resolution of security-related issues
• Attend team/unit/departmental meetings as required
• Maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with security agents and community stakeholders
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Lead and the head office.

Qualification:
• B.sc/BA/HND
• Profesional Certification will be an added advantage.

Experiences:
• 10 Years’ experience in the military or DSS is a key requirement for employment.
