Niger Delta Amnesty Programme by NDAmnesty: 8:21am On Apr 13, 2011
Its almost 2 years now that the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme started, June 25th 2009, the late President Umar Musa Yar'dua declared a 60day disarmament programme which led to acceptance of the granted Amnesty programme.
More than 1 year has passed now, 13,017 transformed ex-militants have gone through the Nonviolence training and have started proceeding to various vocational and educational centres. Due to the unrelenting support of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan there is peace in the region and our oil production per day has risen, given rise to our revenue.
we are urging you fellow Nigerian to contribute your opinions and support the Amnesty programme.
