An analysis by the Post of early data from jurisdictions across the country found that Novel Coronavirus appears to be influencing and killing black Americans at a disproportionate rate compared to white Americans.

According to the analysis, the infection rate in most black counties is three times that in most white counties, and the mortality rate is six times that in white counties.

"Why is the black community three to four times higher than others?" President Trump asked at a briefing of the White House task force on Tuesday. "It doesn't make sense, and I don't like it. We will collect statistics in the next two to three days."

But according to our understanding of the inequality in many black communities, this does make sense. The amendment aims to better understand why coronaviruses obviously kill black Americans faster than other groups. The following are some of the main reasons. "
