I think police officers should be forced to have indemnity just like doctors. When u know a percentage of your salary could be used to settle liability due to your own recklessness, I'm sure they will behave.
American police officers are power drunk. They behave like a mafia boss n not civil servants. They have this arrogant attitude their actions are sacrosanct n shouldn't be questioned by the masses.
There should also be a national register for police officers. Once u are dismissed by any police dept anywhere in the country, ur name is struck off the national register n can never work as a police officer elsewhere.

It seems everything broken in that country cannot be fixed because of some powerful lobbies, union or caucus.
America is in a gradual decline because of some powerful 1% while the remaining 99% look helpless.

My only concern is that the police officers will be wrongfully convicted by a corrupt democrat controlled court, because of too much political inteference by the presidency and democrat in the case and also pressure from the media and the woke mob.
I am afriad that joe biden will want to used this case to score a political point. I am afraid the officers might not get justice and fairness out of this trial.

As for black vs police, i thing the problem is deeply rooted. Statistic show that black make up about 19% in population but are responsible for for about 60% of crime rate, this is due to economic social and racial inequality, broken family, drugs etc so they wil continue to have confrontation with the law, except you ban police which wil lead to more crime.
