We are still in the month of celebrating women, and today on our list of discourse is the most incredible gift nature gave women; The Vagina. So, sit back, let’s have this convo cheesy Do you know you can have an odourless vagina when you eat healthily? It is not just about looking and smelling nice, does down there smell good too? We know it is an embarrassing moment having to deal with the fishy odour. We are here to let you know that it can be fixed. First is that your ‘Coochie’ is a self-cleansing organ regardless, proper care, such as good hygiene, safe sex and regular gynaecological visits play a role in keeping your pH in check. There are also foods which in combination with proper hygiene will definitely favour your honey pot cheesy Let us quickly dive right in.

Sweet Potatoes
Normally, sweet stuff doesn't pack a nutritional punch. But then again, not everything is a sweet potato. Sweet potatoes are filled with vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene which helps strengthen muscle tissues for strong, healthy vaginal walls. A bonus advantage is that Vitamin A is known for regulating sex hormones. Now more than ever is the right time to start incorporating it into your diet.

Greek Yoghurt
This yummy food tops the list. They contain lots of Probiotics, which are good bacteria that play essential roles, from mood and weight maintenance to balancing our immune system. Greek Yoghurt contains a good number of Calcium that balances your Vagina PH levels and keeps things fresh down there. They are tasty in parfaits. Grab them as often as you can.

Lemon
Are you surprised? Don’t be. Lemons are known to have lots of antioxidants that help to protect the vaginal walls from free radical damage. It is a great immune booster that protects the body from infection. Drink lemon water to help flush toxins and restore the pH balance of your ‘coochie’. (Please check with your doctor before including lemon in your diet).

Avocado
Avocados are ample in healthy fats, vitamin B-6, and potassium- all of which have positive effects on your libido. The healthy fats in Avocado lubricate your coochie and protect it from dryness and itchiness. Studies show that they enhance lubrication and estrogen levels, strengthen vaginal walls, and may even increase IVF success due to their unsaturated fats. They are extra tasty in smoothies, salads and other meals.

Garlic
Yes, you read right. However, we haven’t asked you to chew on Garlic just yet. A simple addition of garlic to your dishes boosts your immune system. They contain antimicrobial and antifungal properties that help prevent itching, odour and even UTIs. They are also tasty in stews, sauces and other dishes. Incorporate them for general wholesome life.

Water
It is the last but most important tip on our list. Your honey pot is moist just as your mouth, so drink water often to keep it healthy. If you’re not drinking enough water, your skin is prone to dryness- this doesn’t exclude your vaginal skin. If your vaginal skin is dry, then it’s likely that the inside is too. Other than itching and being dried out, it can lead to or exaggerate yeast infections. That’s not what you want. A woman must drink at least 3 litres of water daily to keep overall health. The amount may increase depending on her level of activity and personal needs.
