Popular Nigeria teen comedienne, Emmanuella, has won the 'Favourite African Social Media Star' award category at the 2021 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.


Emmanuella beat Nigeria's 'Ikorodu Bois', South African magician; Wian Van Den Berg, Uganda's Ghetto Kids, Kenya's social media sensation; Elsa Majimbo, and Bonang Matheba from South Africa, to clinch the prestigious victory at the voting-based awards.

Young Emmanuella of the Mark Angel Comedy, was first nominated for the Kids Choice Award in 2018, alongside Nigerian singer, Davido, but both however lost to Ugandan singer, Eddy Kenzo.
