Remember that during the civil war, the most decisive victories of the Federal forces were won by Yoruba commanders. Even Ojukwu had a Yoruba man lead his troops. Don't also forget that the bulk of the soldiers who fought the battle were supplied by the Middle belt, Benue and Plateau. The core Northern commanders were so poor. You are right. There won'[t be a civil war because Yoruba do not even have what it takes to fight one. Moreover, Fulani do not want a civil war. What they need is a systematic conquest through infiltration and they've done a good job at that, especially in SW and MW. The next stage now is systematic ethnic cleansing so the Yoruba would be left with just two options: capitulate like the Hausa or run to exile in Benin. The good news is that Benin are mostly Yoruba and would happily assimilate their Nigeria Yoruba brethren.
