great ogburu was a fisher man

Great Ogboru .....In 1984, he was employed as a marketing officer in a fishing company in Lagos. In 1987, he left the fishing firm to start up his own private fishing business, Fiogret Ltd, which later grew and expanded to some other African countries.

Great Ogboru is a businessman. There's a clear difference between "fisherman" and "businessman" involved in fishing.

They would only pay the fisherman $924k if he paid the $20k fee for the tournament. And the fisherman will only receive the payment if his fish is the biggest in the said category

You've forgotten that you have to catch the fish there, during the tournament, not bring in your own fish from home.

Brah, na me go educate you about those areas. Na very small percentage of those those people dey involved in those things. Very small percentage. Have you visited those areas before? There is rampant poverty there for the majority and N150k is BIG BIG money for the average fisherman.

Wetin u dey talk sef?! N100k is even ransom money for some local kidnapping.
