All this blowing of hot air, if PPP can truly help us bridge the infrastructure deficit, how come it is failing badly in a state such as Lagos that has embraced PPP wholeheartedly.

The Lekki-Epe expressway is an example of PPP that has since been abandoned yet tolls are continually being collected. The fact is PPP is just another way for the Nigerian Government to shift its responsibilities and rape Nigerians in the process. No one and I mean it, no private company both within and outside of the country wants to invest in our infrastructure mainly due to uncertainty in the political environment, insecurity and sky high initial investment costs (which often go by way of bribes and embezzlement before the actual project is completed).

Pastor Prof should please spare us abeg, talking for talking sake without addressing the root cause of why issues persist is not the solution to our problems in the 21st century.

For those who think Osibanjo will become president in 2023, that will only happen if he is rigged into office.

You can't win the polls when your government has had 2 recessions in less than 5 years.

True to form, the only solution to infrastructural development in the country is P P P . Public Private Partnership development.
From the word go, no government owned established development industry has ever succeeded purely because of corruption and looting system by the management staffs from the highest to the lowest.
Going back to history, where are the following government owned establishment today?
1 Where is the country's National airline - Nigeria Airways today; dead and buried.
2 Nigeria National Shipping line, dead and buried.
3 Nigeria Railway Corporation; dead and buried.
4 Nigeria Petroleum refinery industries; dead and buried, and many other government owned establishments just to name a few.
So for any known government owned money making establishment in the country to succeed it has to be P P P .
So over to the Vice President to see to the sayings of the country's need to run all the money making government establishments as P P P_ Public Private Partnerships systems.
So over to the V P go ahead.

The review of budgetary allocation for capital expenditure even over the past decade will show that government resources are completely insufficient for this purpose.

Nigerians are not ready for a PPP led infrastructural development. All we want is infrastructure without paying for it because we believe government has a limitless access to funds.
