The Chief imam of Ilorin gave his view based on Quran teachings on the hijab crisis in Ilorin.

He spoke in Yoruba when being interviewed with the following summary in English

1. Islam teaches that you don't incite trouble by abusing people not belonging to your religion

2. Islam preaches peaceful coexistence with other religion and as such, the use of hijab should not be enforced in a Christian mission school.

3. If Muslims are particular about using hijab they should leave the Christian mission schools and get their wards registered at the Muslim schools, Ansar-ud-deen and the likes.

4. He said you can't go to Saudi Arabia and publicly declare a church same way you can't go to Jerusalem and to do same publicly on Mosque.

5. Nigeria has many religions and as such neutrality in constitution. There is nothing like Muslim state.

Everyone want PEACE, they talk about it and try to practice it but without God it's impossible to make PEACE reign!

This is a true Muslim who upholds the tenets of Islam. In a sane contry, circular contry we were taught UNITY WITH DIVERSITY, why would anyone try to dabble into the diversity of the other end.

Enforcing Muslim hijab in a diverse religion, you have already created disunity.

Enforcing ethnicity and tribalism in diverse ethnic groups will always create disunity.

Little wonder many are being forced into believing that the government has an ulterior motive in the ethnocentric policies and appointments in the administration of Nigeria.

Many bill and petitions being shutdown
Only Ethnic and religious nepotism being witnessed in recent times.

The government must not neglect Federal Character, else you are calling for disintegration, because when one is pushed to the wall, one must bounce back.
