I still remember reading the news here, the IGP asked for all the checkpoints to be dismounted. Have they all been dismounted in your state?

I remember when all the IGPs announced that policemen following people aka escorts should be retrieved. Not once not twice.

That's the radio news.

In real life, the same IGP tells them not to come back to the station without about ₦100k daily, and he doesn't care about the way and manner they get it.

Nigeria exists in two parts: the reality and the on-air part. The reality part is the opposite of the latter.

What do you expect when the IGP too has a share in the money. Everyone wants to cash out easily.

Bad leadership, the front leaders don't follow the rule of law, the followers share the same orientation, the people who are supposed to enforce the law are being threatened of their job, even we the common man think we should do anything anyhow we please

During Obasanjo regime, the then OPUTA PANEL (Now EFCC) set up by him to tackle corruption and abuse of power, the OPUTA PANEL summoned Obasanjo himself for bully, then Obasanjo scrapped the OPUTA PANEL because he believed he was above the law owing to his position as the President and he should never be contained by the law he has set up.
