Hurray for thunder! Okigbo was a great man. A great literary mind. I fell in love with his poems the first day I read them. I read about his exploits during the war, he was also a close friend of Prof. Chinua Achebe. I believe he was a Good to one of his sons, in not sure. |

He was the younger brother of renowned late economist, Dr Pious Okigbo. Christopher Okigbo was a tough guy, he died in the battle front as a Biafran officer fighting for the freedom of his people |
