The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Kuryas, has stated that Command will not be deterred by the criminal actions of some unscrupulous individuals and groups hell-bent on fomenting and unleashing mayhem in the State. According to him, the Command remains committed to its mandate of ensuring the safety and security of lives and properties. The CP’s assertion is following the recent attacks on Police Officers and Stations in the State. On Thursday, March 18, 2021, three Policemen were killed by gunmen at Neni junction in Anaocha Local Government Area of the State, while their patrol vehicle was set ablaze.
