The Indigenous People of Biafra has said Nigerian Army and police did not kill any operative of the Eastern Security Network in Abia State.


IPOB asked the Nigerian security agents to publish the exact camp of the ESN it attacked and show videos and photos of their operations

The group, through its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful told SaharaReporters on Wednesday that the military source who said they had killed ESN on Tuesday were lying.

Powerful said the nation’s security agents are only killing innocent citizens, claiming they are members of the ESN.

A military source had told SaharaReporters that hundreds of security operatives on Tuesday night launched a heavy attack on the camp of ESN in Aba, Abia state, killing about 16 of them and injuring others.

While reacting, Powerful said, “Ask the army and police to show pictures or videos of those ESN operatives they killed. Army, police, air force, including all the other security outfits in Nigeria cannot do ESN anything, not when they killed innocent citizens and they tagged them ESN operatives.

“Ask the soldiers to disclose where ESN camp is located and how it looks like. Don't mind the army propaganda machine because we know them before they come, they can't deceive us. ESN is rooted and Nigerian security agencies cannot come across them.

“ESN is out to defend and protect our land and forest; nothing they can do to stop us. Let them come; we are waiting for them. Let them show the bodies of those they claimed to have killed. Nigerian soldiers should stop lying to the public.”

Ipob is now defending "unknown gunmen".

I hope these are not innocent citizens murdered like chicken. Our military have been politicized and reduced to boys scouts and man O war.

This is my worst fear. Those people could be random victims picked up from various locations and labelled ESN.

Nigerian security agencies have not even made an official statement on the matter.

No probs karma awaits in the coming days ngene and his likes must surely hide their faces in shame.

Kanu and his lunatic followers should keep deceiving themselves. Who else except different report different from deniance from Kanu? Did he just start ignoring and denying his members? I only pity those that were killed and there family members; even the last honour and "rest in peace" that Kanu suppose to give those members killed was denied them so people won't hold him accountable, then, what benefit do members stand to get from virtual Biafra?

What were those 16 "kanu-denied members" doing inside thick forest camp in the mid-night when soldiers-police raided them when they should be with their respective parents? Now Nigeria soldiers are there everywhere, tell ESN/Ipob to go and fight them with fighter-jets they display regularly on social media they built and all assorted guns Kanu provided for them.

They want to fight gorilla warfare, ESN/Igbos should come out of their hiding places because gorilla-nigeria able soldiers are already waiting for them, this is the time for them to use their skills and training received in the forest camps.
