According to the sworn court affidavit filed by the former Managing Director of Alpha Beta Consulting, Dapo Apara, before the Lagos State High Court, 10% of the internal generated revenue of Lagos state has been paid as commission to Alpha Beta Consulting, owned by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, since 2003 when they were given monopoly to collect state taxes.

The agreement signed in 2003 should be scrapped and the commission reduced from 10% to 0.1%. The money is too much haba!This is what happens when there is no transparency and open bidding process. If the contract was made open for public bidding,industry players like KPMG,PWC,EY and Deloitte would have bidded to collect Lagos state taxes for 0.1%-0.5% commission.
