What jeopardy did Ameachi put Rivers? Seems you have forgotten so soon. His giant strides in education will he forever be remembered for.

He had big dreams for port Harcourt. Started the metro line wike has failed to complete.

And how about security, Is port harcourt of today safer than during Ameachi's reign?

Please don't let hate make you blind. He had his flaws right being human. But he was far better, learned, and a leader.

Talk true, that metro line reaches 50 million?....why do we like to support evil for selfish interests. To think of yourself as the only person with ambition and to ignore/disregard others is the worst type of hypocrisy. The man you rob of his meal will come back to rob you of it in another form.

If you know the level of corruption going on with the rail projects, you'd be heartbroken.

The cost being quoted for locomotive rail lines in Nigeria is tripple that of fast metro rails in developed countries.

The reason China took interest in Africa is corruption. In China, they execute corrupt public office holders but the same Chinese go to other countries with corrupt office holders to give loans and milk their economies.

I am with the lawmakers on this even though they also have their flaws but nobody should be allowed to mortgage the future of our kids to China.

Does Amaechi think he would still be alive today if he was Chinese doing all these rubbish in China? Very senseless man.

i dont believe in the blame game..... nigerians are tired of blaming britain and slave trade now they want to shift their blame to china instead of taking responsibility for their circumstances...

Instead of commending the lawmakers,he is villifying them.
We as Nigerians deserve to know all the material clauses in these numerous borrowings as we are the direct stakeholders.
Nigeria has been borrowing for years so why the sudden inclusion of sovereignty clause?

That's why we don't want the loan because our useless and greedy leaders won't pay back, and we will be forced to cede our national assets to China. They will even loot the loan money on top.

I never read meaning thing from Amechi words even when he was a Governor, this is the same man that transfer 750 Millions dollars to Academy bank of America in error for 4 consecutive times and that money never be repatriated, He never sign check for all his 8 years as governor.

Now to confirm his lie and madness, is there any other rail line from Kanduna to Lagos? because all Nigerians that knows the lane very well knew that we have only one rail lane from Lagos to Ibadan, from Ibadan to Kaduna, Kaduna to Kano. from kaduna you connect to Markudi, Enugwu and the less.

so which other Lagos to kano he's talking about, if he is talking about Kaduna to Kano that can be easy to understand. I don't thing this government is corrupt but i am sure the are arm-rubbers.
Re: Chinese Loan: Selfish Lawmakers Have Put Nigeria In Jeopardy – Amaechi by samdunzo: 6:33pm On Mar 31, 2021
Why dont you just amend the railway act so that states and private investors can build the lines for you? NRC should be a quasi- federal organization similar to Americas rail system, amtrak
Re: Chinese Loan: Selfish Lawmakers Have Put Nigeria In Jeopardy – Amaechi by JAWBONE(m): 7:11pm On Mar 31, 2021
We collected loans from China to build railways and employed Chinese companies to build the same railway. Chinese are so smart
