It so happened that we were enroute my lodge that day...

Because the look of TERROR on my driver's face is one picture that would never leave my mind

It was evening, around 8:45 when I boarded his cab...

It had been a very hectic day for me as I had just come back from my vacation trip to Edo..

I was very tired and longed for the comfort of my not-so-soft bed...

I entered his cab and even though I didn't expect the outrageous price he told me...

I just told him "Oga let's be going"

While in the cab, he began to justify his price and why it was high..

He complained about Buhari

He complained about the fuel price rise

He complained about his car and how it consumed so much fuel

He complained about how the bad roads were making him spend so much money on his car's maintenance

Heck! there was nothing he didn't complain about...

Lost in thoughts and tired, I fell asleep in my seat

I had a good sleep for let's say 5 mins...

before I felt my left hand being yanked with so much force that I felt my shoulder would leave it's socket

I woke up with a start and the look on my drivers face was very shocking

He looked white

Like all the blood had been drained out of his face

I was like "Oga wetin happen"

He swallowed hard before he spoke to me

He told me that the car in front of us had just been robbed by some men armed with guns and axes...

And the driver of that vehicle was shot in his shoulders

I don't know how he got that news or who told him but...

I froze in my seat too as he spoke

Suddenly, my driver went into swift action mode...

it was like he had a rush of adrenaline

He immediately wrapped his hands around his steering wheel..

And with a fiery look in his eyes he took a sharp turn

The turn was so sharp I could have sworn that he acted in the Fast & Furious movie

I was experiencing Death race live

Fortunately, he knew another road that led to my lodge

This road was 3x longer than the normal road we were meant to follow

5x rougher

And I'd say 7x dustier and dirtier

And for someone who had whined so much about the cost of fuel and the effect of bad roads...

My driver drove without a single tiny complaint

He dropped me off at the front of my lodge and left after I paid him

But the events of that night still left an imprint on my mind

I don't know if my driver drove back through the normal road (which seems very impossible) or the rough one...

But what I know is...

The fear of death motivated my driver to ignore the price of fuel and focus his whole energy on getting us to safety

Maybe he felt like he still had his whole life in front of him

Or he had a family to take care of

Or he had a sweetheart who promised to satisfy him with sex later that night

All I know is that he just wasn't ready to die that evening

And that was enough for him to take swift action

Now here's the lesson...

Fear can be a very great motivator

And it's one emotion every marketer or business owner should know how to harness

Because it can make you a lot of sales

And that's why the Health niche is one of the most lucrative niches to venture into

In the health niche...

Almost every consequence can be tied to death

And this propels their customers to take swift action

And most times that is...

Purchase whatever shit they're selling no matter the price tag they slap on it

That's why people empty their wallets and even beg for money to afford drugs and medical care

FEAR of death

And the good thing is...

Fear can be used in your business too

If you sell real estate...

It can be...Fear of your prospects getting kicked out into the streets because of a little misunderstanding with their landlord

If you sell sex enhancement products...

It can be...Fear of your prospect being cheated on by his wife because of how poor he is in bed and his inability to satisfy her

If you sell Investment Opportunities...

It can be...Fear of your prospect loosing all his hard-earned money when the economy comes crashing down

Whatever it is...

Once you make sure that fear is tied to the consequence of not purchasing your solution

And you make that very clear in your Sales message or pitch...

It would motivate your target to take action immediately and purchase your products

So you see...

Fear can make you a shit load of money..

And if you want me to hold you by the hands and show you HOW you can make a lot of money selling your products and services
