A man identified as Lawali Danladi has been arrested by the Niger Police for beating his wife to death over pap in Niger State, HGS Media Plus reports.

The 20-year-old man according to report beat his wife one Zulai to death following an argument over the pap she prepared for him.

HGS Media Plus learnt that the said Lawali beat his wife because he did not like the way his wife prepared the pap and as a result caused a heated argument between them.

It was gathered that Lawali beat his wife to coma at their home located in Kadaura village in Yakila Gunna district of Rafi Local Government Area.

However, the wife was confirmed dead at the Wushishi General hospital where she was rushed to for treatment.

The spokesman of the Niger police, DSP Wasiu Abiodun who confirmed the incident said the suspect will be charged to court.
