Effium occupy that largest part of Ebonyi state, the community which is located at Northern part of the state with the major indegens known as UFFIUM, the minority and the main Origin of Effium community known as (Uffium) The community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state has for long suffered an indescribable kinds of impunities from one of its strangers whom they welcomed with in whole heartily and fed in for seven years before given them land to farm and take care of themselves.
Has now reciprocated the good deed of the job weldone and thank you my host for internal genocide and extra judicial killing in order to inherit the major resources from them after having them been eliminated all just because they are minority has have no representative in Government and lack no one to speak for them.
The community has for long has been abandoned and left for God's mercy and to victims fate without any recreational and infrastructural resources to boast for has suffered serious with diverse kinds of untold hardship yet under the contraption of Ebonyi State.
The conflict came as a result minor crisis of whom to control motor park in one of the garages in Effium Market around the area pupolarly known as Ikpoki Junction. The aclaim crisis would have been resolved if not that the Ezza people who saw themselves as opportunists and majority in Effium community and employed both a diplomatic and flamboyant means to indulged into inhuman operatives wipe all Effiumites from their own community and take over every natural resources which has been newly found from the community from them. The Government of Ebonyi state under the leadership of Dave Umahi has employed all the strategies he has as the incumbent Governor to resolve the conflict and ensure peace and harmony yet the Ezza has all these while play the harden their hearts and ignored all the warns from the government and went against the incumbent governor's order countless times even the government held peace talks involving the stakes holders from the two tribes.
The Effiumites and original occupant and owner of the community are hereby calling for international government to step into the matter looking into the issue and ensure justice prevail in the their community because everyone has his or her home and the origin where he or she hailed from both this people (Ezza) who has been killing the Effiumites for years without any negative reaction from the host, the Ezza people has decided to go any length in order to wipe out the Effiumites from their God given land.
We are hereby calling on federal and international government to step up into the matter and resolve the it. For kept silent for long and we are tired and can not be silent anymore, we cannot continue to harbour or co-exist and host the strangers who has decided to eliminate us all out our only community that God gave to us.
We are hereby urging them to return back to their home, their eccestral hom, they have large expanse of land wide enough to contain them, why coming to our territory and killing us? Their own community is Ezza north and Ezza South, they have two enormous local government and good facilities to boast for. They should leave us with our poor homes and relocate to their home.
