WHAT NATION-BUILDING INVOLVES

There is a saying that goes something like this: “Tomorrow will have in it what we put into today”.
If we take that saying, we will understand why Africa, the richest continent on earth, has the poorest and most exploited people on earth. Our forefathers put into their “today” what we are reaping now.

This therefore means that if we want our children to have a Lower Niger Federation, we must TODAY work for it. I put emphasis on “we”, because creating a new Lower Niger Federation is not the job to be left for one person, while we sit and watch saying: “Let me see it happen!”.

The story of the Jews is one worth keeping in mind. Jews began to leave Israel just as Jesus had predicted, after the fall of Jerusalem, so from 70 AD. Many of them headed for the land we call Germany today, and settled there for hundreds of years, adding their brains and resources to make Germany great. Yet, in the 1930s, some 1860 YEARS later!!! the Nazis started deadly anti-Jewsish propaganda and acts, culminating in a holocaust. What that teaches us is that even after nearly 2000 years of being in Germany, Jews were not respected, and were NOT SAFE in the world. That is why at the end of World War 2, Jews INSISTED on having their own country, and not be a countryless people any more. In order to get global respect, which is what keeps any ethnic group SAFE in the world, Jews knew that Israel had to be a strong country, that has USEFUL THINGS to bring to the global table.

We, the ethnic nations of the Lower Niger Bloc should therefore know that our children will not be safe in the world unless we have our own country, and our country is at peace and is successful. Right now there is a place called “Nigeria”, but it cannot be described as “our country” because ALL the ethnic nations of our Bloc are as enslaved people in a concentration camp. We cannot control our resources, we cannot control our ancestral lands, we cannot control our future.

Keep in mind that “Tomorrow will have in it what we put into today”. That means that WE are responsible for what our children will inherit. Using religious sentences like “God should help us” or “God will do it” means throwing our responsibility on another, ie on God, and the outcome will remain being the people with the richest continent yet the poorest and most wretched. The “Let me see it happen” orientation of many Black people should become “Let me make it happen!”.

This Facebook group is here for us to use to make it happen! Let us see ourselves as family, with the common goal of creating a really nice Lower Niger Federation. Here we can discuss it and visualise it. Then run with the vision and tell others about it.
