I am also learning and it's my desire to achieve my goal very fast. So part of the essence of setting up this thread is to gather like minds into a whatsapp study group where we study together EVERY DAY.

To learn a language you must listen / speak everyday.

Needless to say that you would have access to study materials within the whatsapp group.

5 Daily Steps to Get Germanized FAST

1. Vocabulary:

4. Writing:

2. Grammar: For example, How do you know which word to place Die, Das or Der in front of?
I don't have a clear guide for this yet, because it's the most difficult with every language.
Continuous practice (DAILY) of all the other 4 steps will be the best bet for now.

3. Reading: This is 1st step in learning to write. Best bet is to sign up with German forums were you can spend like 3-5 mins daily reading a couple of post.
At first ask yourself how many words you recognise and understand their meaning.
Then as time goes on, try to make sense out of what you reading.

4. Writing: Many of the German forums will have videos with subtitles or short sentences with interpretation. Write out both and you can use the English sentencesthe following day to practice writing in Deutsche. Spend 10-15mins on this.

5. Speaking: Use the material in step 4 and speak/ record yourself. Listen to your self and if you are in a group send it out for evaluation. This stage is VERY important to build your confidence.

6. Listening: Download & Watch German cartoons. Best if they are subtitled in German/ Deutsche.

7. Testing (Goethe Institute): After 2 months, download and answer Goethe test question. Evaluate your preparedness for the real exam, then go for it. This certificate can open more doors than your Bachelor's degree.
