A Christian Organization is looking for an Accountant to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing its financial transactions and processes. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in this role, and should be honest, analytical, detail-oriented, and possess good presentation skills, with the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to management.

Ultimately, you will ensure the Organization’s finances run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

1.Maintaining accurate financial records.

2.Manage all accounting transactions.

3.Ensure proper bookkeeping.

4.Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

5.Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

6.Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.

7.Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

8..Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

9.Comply with financial policies and regulations.

10.Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.


Requirements

1.BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2.Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.

3.Knowledge of accounting software.

4.Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

5.Good analytical and communication skills.

6.Strong attention to detail.

7.Ability to work on weekends.

8.ICAN/ACCA certification.
