Fixing My Android Phone by TheDarkGamer: 1:25pm On Apr 06
I'm using an Asus Zenfone Android phone but it has stopped functioning. It doesn't turn on or give any indication that it's working apart from when charging. The charging light still works when plugged in and after all research, I've found out that the battery is the problem. It is a non removable inbuilt battery.

Since it charges but doesn't power up, the battery must still have some juice in it. I have charged for a while but it still doesn't turn on, sometimes the light blinks. Is there any hack or trick to fix the in built battery or should I buy a new one? How much does a battery cost?

My old one was 3.85 volts and 1000mAh.

I'm still going to buy a new phone this summer, preferably Vivo or Oppo, but I'm just looking for a temporary fix. Thanks. Please make suggestions if you can.

Have you tried connecting it to a laptop to see if the phone gets detected.

Yes, It doesn't detect it. The problem is from the battery. It charges but the charging light blinks as it charges which suggests that it is probably too low to power the phone but it is not yet dead. So I don't know if there is any way to fix the battery...
