As the killings in Nigeria get out of hand, the President Vision Africa International and Co-chair Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace, Bishop, Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has decried the worsening security situations in the country, declaring that Nigeria is a Nation at war.

Bishop Onuoha who was addressing newsmen, on resumption of work on Tuesday, said his heart bleeds each time there is a report of killing or attack by bandits, Boko Haram or any other terror group in the country, stressing that killings, maiming of innocent Nigerians have become a daily occurrence.

The Methodist Bishop, expressed worry that Nigeria has become a country at war, revealing that the absence of peace in almost all parts of the country is a testimony that Nigeria has gone from once a peaceful state, to a country in war situation, calling for a truce.

Bishop Onuoha called on those fuelling these attacks, and those used to carry them out to refrain from their actions as dialogue has proved to be the greatest weapon that will see the country out of the numerous problems which has engulfed it and her people.

The Global Peace Award 2013, who added that war has never helped the country in realising it's potentials, urged promoters of war to learn from the Syrian, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Sudan, Ethiopia experiences, maintaining that these countries have not recorded much in terms of human and capital development, noting that it will be disastrous if such is witnessed in Nigeria.

He commended the efforts of the security agencies in the country, who are grappling to catch up with the various waves of insecurity in the country, urging them to engage more in intelligence gathering so as to be ahead of the happenings.

Bishop Onuoha called on the Federal and State government, to synergize amidst the security threats in the country, otherwise, the country is headed to an abysmal dungeon of eclipse and doom.

BUHARI ran for President 5 times. 5 times Eastern Nigerians rejected him but voted for his brothers, Yar’Adua & Atiku.

Why? Because they saw the tomorrow of a Buhari Presidency. That tomorrow is today & you’re crying BLOOD.
