Countries have tried to obtain COVID-19 vaccines from people of color with limited success rates, and these people have been killed and hospitalized in large numbers because of the disease. Beginning Thursday, Vermont has clearly given priority to black adults and people from other minorities to vaccinate. Vermont is close behind Montana. Montana announced in January that it would allow Native Americans and other people of color to be vaccinated because they have a higher risk of COVID-19 complications. |
