SALES REPRESENTATIVE – 2 Required

Job Location: Festac Town Lagos State

Job Summary

A new snack manufacturer is seeking a qualified sales representative to be responsible for generating
leads and meeting sales goals. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales
process, excellent at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate
will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and the ability to showcase our product in a
compelling way. It is essential that our sales rep be personable, approachable, and professional.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who can take advantage of our competitive commission
structure for the benefit of both the manufacturer and him or her.
You will be responsible for generating leads, meeting sales targets, achieving good sales penetration
in sales territory, managing customer relationships, delivery of orders and collecting customer
payments.

Responsibilities and Duties

 Generating leads.
 Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
 Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
 Giving sales pitch to a range of prospective buyers.
 Obtaining balance of payments from clients.
 Obtaining, preparing & submitting orders.
 Delivery of orders to client locations.
 Visiting customers and potential customers to evaluate needs or to promote product.
 Maintaining customer records.
 Answering customer questions regarding credit terms, products, price, and availability.

Qualifications and Skills

 High school diploma required.
 Personal Integrity.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 A commitment to excellent customer service.
 Superb interpersonal skills, including ability to quickly build rapport with both customers &
suppliers.
 Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
 Stamina to handle being on the road or on the move most of your workday.
 Competency in Microsoft applications including Word & Excel.

Compensation

 Base: N20,000
 Transport Allowance: N16,000
 Phone Allowance: N4,000
 Commission: 5% on all sales above the minimum monthly sales threshold of N500,000.
