I was wondering what the lawyers were waiting for since to take up this case - I had earlier said that one serious lawyer should just take up the case and use it to shine and get fame.

Had the CCT chairman been Igbo or even Yoruba, he would have lost his job.

But since he is Fulani, the blame is on “Biafran Boys”.

One day, and soon, Nigeria will be free of the shackles of these Fulani bloodsuckers.

Until then, thunder fire all Nairaland zombies who defend the atrocities of this govt.

It is really sad but since the Coward in question is FUlani, l dont expect him to have shame and resign.
Even their Oga at Aso Rock lacks the capacity to feel shamed.

Nigeria must break into Regions, the atrocities of these Fulanis must end.

You are wasting your time, the same NHRC registered through fulani caliphate will turn around collect 2023 election campaigns contract; and this is the last time to hear about this fulani jihadist political terrorist government agencies.

Just pray that there will be no more Nigeria general elections in your communities.

Some lazy youth will claim that nothing will happen and that Samuel is wasting his time.

Well, I don't blame people who has not discovered their worth, may never will.

A scenery played out on me in 2019. I parked a car by d kerb and went in to a friend's studio in a plaza at Area 11 garki Abuja to greet my friend. When I came out, I discovered that a Benz C450 was parked across mine. It was so wrongly packed that I became alarmed because such parking meant something bad; either robbery or assassin. I've been double-crossed before, so I know what I'm talking about. I stepped off to scrutinized d surrounding b4 I approached my car.

Thereafter, I asked the security what happened that a sane person could park like this. The poor security guys told me that they try to talk to the man but his boys parked like that and they left. I had to wait...
Eventually, the man arrived. When he realized I owned the car beside or behind him, he arrogantly asked me to remove my toy. Yes, toy!, that's what he calls it. I didn't say anything. Because without him leaving, there's no way I can move without bashing d car behind me or the dried cut-of wood beside me. So I try to explain to him but he snubbed me, entered his car and began to drive off. The next thing I saw was my side mirror; kawass!!! It was removed and shattered.

I was mad... It's my cousin's car, a Nissan sunny. People came from the plaza and calling honourable and stuff. I went to him, but he acted as if to smash me. It was so dramatic.

Finally, he made it out and was about to speed off, oboy, I hit his side mirror from d driver's side; it broke instantly. He applied brake and jumped out with his boys. I just stood smiling.

Next was his boys... They made a move to attack me, but he stopped them. He told them that he was going to teach me a lesson: at that point, the people present were divided, with some blaming me and others blaming him and some guys were giving me kudos and a lot of stuff. He started to make calls... I picked my phone and made some calls too. Unfortunately, my guys arrived b4 his. Then a BeatFm guy I contacted came also bcs it was within same neighborhood. The man began wonder who I am. It was written all over his face. Anyways, 5 soldiers arrived and immediately they asked where and who the bastard is... my guys who had stationed themselves were waiting impatiently...and the whole people in the plaza came out to watch what was going to happen. He was confused and he asked his boys to step down. I signalled my guys to hold on... People got involved and he decided to take heed.

Me, I don't believe in Nigerian justice. That's why I've learned the act of survival in this country.

I believe in myself. I am a man of Honor. I have friends. And I have Friend of Friends.

Protect yourself while you can. Kill if necessary. But don't start trouble.

Why I am not underrating the competency & ability of the Banex Plaza's lawyer to pursue this case to a logical conclusion, I am of the view that the services of high profile lawyers such as Femi Falana, Olisa Agbakoba, Ozekhome etc could be procured on pro bono to serve as a deterrent to others oppressors such as the CCT chairman. Besides, I had expected Civil Society Organisations to stage peaceful protests in this matter as injustice to one, is injustice to all. :First, they came for the Unionist, I did not talk becos I was not a Unionist; then they came for the Socialites, I did not talk becos I was not a Socialist; later they came for the Jews, I did not talk becos I was not a Jew; When they came for me there was no one to speak up'. I am even appalled that people like Prof Wole Soyinka & Co have remain silent on this matter. ' The Man Died: in the face of people being passive.

No be zoo again?
And if that Umar guy were to be Igbo now,Lagos-Ibadan brown envelope journalists would've made sure he is on the front page and subject of the editorials of all their newspapers every blessed day asking him to resign.
Falana them with Adeboye dem would've been protesting on the streets daily asking him to resign.

Ha!

You even added Adeboye. How many times have Adeboye protested against any individual?

You're treading a dangerous path. I pity you, and your generation.

There's an air of complicity once the odds against - - appear unsumountable, often portrayed as resignation.

To all who have written above in resignation you have become complicit by default, in delaying the day of justice for the young man.

Hopefully he gets it in court, thanks to his lawyer.

In a sane clime, the CCT judge would have rendered a public apology for that press statement and may face a vote of no confidence on his ability to hold a public office

But Nigeria? Even so many African counties won't tolerate this from there public servants

He would have resigned straight away

All tribes have lived together in this nation since 1960

You employers paid you to come here daily on this forum and stole hatred between tribes .
You open multiple accounts claiming different tribes and attacking different tribes

You will all be caught mark it

Nigeria is greater than you or your employers

You will all be traced and picked up

Suddenly all tribes hate igbo

Suddenly all tribes hate yoruba

Suddenly all tribes hate fulani and hausa

Suddenly we don't want to live together

Just listen to yourself.

Adeboye raised a one million man protest during Jonathan's time to protest against the spate of insecurity in Nigeria, and not against any single individual!

My friend, name the Igbo man Adeboye had ever protested against!

Listen:

Chairman code of what? Can someone explain what code of conduct means in Nigeria so that we can truly understand the irony of this case where a bully is at the helm of the affairs of an institution that supposed to regulate others? It will help to see clearly why Nigeria is doomed.

He should be sent to jail if there is clear evidence that he assaulted the 'poor man'. All Nigerian politicians are thugs and bullies, and the country can never move forward with unrestrained bullies at the helm of affairs. It's sheer lawlessness.

This is a strong attack on the CCT chairman. He is not likely to survive this except if he pays the man off.

Bad mistake from him.

Vultures are already gathering.

He should not stop there . Write the presidency, NJC and IG .
This is a lesson to all those in power. Thread and act with the fear of God. Umar some years back was behaving like a saint and all powerful. Today a security man, yes a security man not a politician has opened his yansh. Let him use his connections and power to escape this but last last this incident will forever stain him.
