Each region or state should get at least 50% revenue gotten from its coffers. This should apply to all inflows from petrol dollars to VAT/CIT, inflows from customs, solid minerals, etc. 14 Likes |

And this is all they have got brain for? People dying everyday is non of their concerns. When erosion is sweeping your neighbor's house, you might mock, but that is the best time for you to rework the community drainage. I just pray, very soon, may the political leaders bury their children day-in, day out. Then, they will feel the same heat ordinary people are facing. We will all console ourselves and think of how to deal with the idiots wasting people's lives. 1 Like |

Looks good on paper but the problem is when it's approved, what will the governors of those respective states do differently with it to what they have been doing with the current 13% ? More money to loot, think about it. 1 Like |

Not what we need. All we need is for every region to control its resources and then perhaps give the 20% to the central government. I see this as a mere bribery. 4 Likes |

In my opinion, absolute resource control is the best. And let it be the other way, were the states will now be giving the central 20% derivation. This will go a long way solving must of the regional problems faced today. |
