����� � Today is 1st RAMADAN 1442 in Nigeria� I just received a message from Sheikh Adamu Tsoho Jos that the moon that end the month of Sha'aban was sighted in some areas of Sokoto state, Yawuri, Gombe and Lafia in Nasarawa state. With this development tomorrow will be ( *1/9/1442*) which is equivalent to the Gregorian calendar 13/4/2021. Addendum Due to the erratic and inconsistent moon sighting in Nigeria, the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, established a Moon Sighting committee that will keep record of the moon appearance every month.
