Racoon: What does Shoprite have to do with xenophobic attacks in South Africa? Your mentality would be like blaming Nigerians abroad whenever a foreigner is kidnapped or robbed in Nigeria. SMH > |

There is less than 5% honest, profit making companies in Nigeria. The other businessmen are outrightly corrupt, fraudulent, make it big out of inflated, corrupt government contracts or deals or borrow money from banks(which in itself is not bad);that they use to live large, serve up their business financial returns, but never had the intention of paying back because they can't run a profitable business in d first place. Show me one Nigerian business, aside banks that are not linked to government, alleged in shady deals or not indebted to banks, and I will trek throughout the length of third mainland bridge. |

When this news first came out they denied it. Nnamdi Kanu first said Atiku was from Cameroon, they fought it but now they are using it against Atiku. We have been hearing "this is not Buhari, this is not Buhari" hmm...one day that too would be revealed. |

Shoprite has always been scam now, they sell only few things cheap so when you enter and you see that drinks are cheap you will think they sell everything cheap not knowing they are using some to sell some...even most things they sell in shoprite are more expensive than thyme ones in the market...they can go to hell for all I care 2 Likes |

A national shame! It's speaks volumes about the economy and the country's investment. With economic growth rates less than 2%, messed up Apapa ports and forex controls over the past 6 yrs, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to guess why they left. It sends wrong. To all those saying let these foreign investors go, it was foreign investment that helped transform China from a desperately poor backwater country, to become the 2nd largest economy in the world The SEZ helped transform China. They laid the foundation for china's present wealth. 2 Likes |
