Community Manager
Location: Lagos. Ilorin. Port-Harcourt
Job Description
Hamlet is looking for a self-starter with a go get it attitude, someone willing to get his hands dirty and operate in a fast paced environment. The community manager role will be a core position bridging the gap between ground operations, customers and the product development teams.
Responsibilities
● Manage and support local network of stringer Journalists
● Onboard and motivate local news makers / influencers
● Onboard district level Officials/Companies
● Create content / communication strategy
● Own local marketing strategy and operations for distribution of Hamlet
● Create and submit weekly reports on local operations progress and issues
● Gather and summarize market feedback through customer interviews and surveys for product and technology teams



Skills
● Strong passion to work at the grassroots level
● Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
● Able to work independently and remotely
● MS Office or Google Suite
● Bachelor's degree in Communications or Public Policy or equivalent qualification
● 2 to 3 years of experience in impact / social sector or similar roles
