The General has a point and we all are aware of it but things are not going to happen exactly like his thinks. I disagree with him on the saying that IPOB is speaking more on politics than security. It seems he's still seeing a big divided between both even when recent events has proven otherwise. In Nigeria, security is politics and politics is security. Today, no single Igbo man in the security architecture on the federal level which means whatever secret decision taken is without the knowledge of over 40million Igbos. Just imagine the impact of such a scenario!
IPOB and ESN understand the game which unfortunately our retired general doesn't. One easy way to confirm your servitude before the terrorist federal government is to always state that you are abiding by the fraudulent constitution. They on their side don't abide by it so why should you? Where in the Nigerian constitution does Hisbah have the right to go destroy the bars and clubs of Nigerian citizens in Kano? The elder statesman has not for once condemned it. Tomorrow they'll still graduate to attack other businesses of our people on imaginary pretexts and non of you will talk yet you want the youth to remain silent. It's not going to happen. We know their game and are playing it accordingly.
As for Ebube-agu, personally I support its formation on these conditions.
1. That they charged publicly to defend the SE against any form of invasion by terrorist herdsmen. Others include kidnappers, criminals and any armed external aggression.
2. They must armed with assault rifles which gives them the capability to face any other armed group. Where the SE leaders refuse the issue of automatic weapons, their sons must join the security and be in the field to face whatever challenge others will face with the same set of tools they're issued.
3. Ebube-agu should liaise with ESN in carrying out the defence of the SE. All capable hands are required to join in securing our land.

The reason why a lot are doubtful of the formation of Ebube-agu is because they're likely to be toothless which will lead to making a mockery of the SE. We all saw how Amotekun of the SW has been consistently ridiculed with some of them killed by the herdsmen. We don't want such for our brothers. Let them stand the chance to defend themselves with assault rifles their hands.
If anyone is against assault rifles, let him first of all ask the fulani government why they allow herdsmen to carry assault rifles around.
