The decision was taken after a clash between students of the department of Guidance and Counseling and a lecturer during an examination the lecturer ended abruptly before the stipulated time.
Subsequent exams in the department was later postponed indefinitely while the management of the institution invited both the lecturer and students to the disciplinary panel.

Before that, there have been a lot of outcry among lecturers of the college over the rate at which students of the department of guidance and counseling of the college are occupying all parking spaces which are allocated for lecturers with their cars and expensive powerbikes (contrary to the reasons stated in the circular) .

The big question remains if the students will obey this new rule and if parking spaces should be meant for lecturers alone.
