It was a black Sunday at Oshigbudu in Agatu LGA of Benue State after a petrol-laden tanker fell and went up in flames.

IDOMA VOICE reports that many persons have been burnt to death and several houses as well as vehicles destroyed by the ragging inferno.

IDOMA VOICE further learnt that the fully loaded tanker conveying fuel, fell at the Oshigbudu-Obagaji junction and spilled its content which caught fire, putting the Oshigbudu community in a terrible situation at the moment.

Vice chairman of the LGA, John Ikwulono, who confirmed the sad incident to IDOMA VOICE, said those who have contacts of fire service should please reach out to them to save the unfortunate situation.

Ikwulono said he had reached out to the Otukpo Local Government Chairman, Hon George Alli for assistance but the fire service vehicle which could be of help is currently faulty.

Satan is throwing mankind into mourning every time and in different ways. And sometimes too, people's carelessness contributes to some of these tragedies.
These oil companies and the their truck drivers should ascertain the fitness of their vehicles before moving. Now that it has happened, obviously the driver did not survive.

RIP what a terrible way to die.
