Although it's true these bigger clubs have fans all over the world, but it seems they want to push things (their fame) a bit too far. For example, when a big team like Real Madrid is drawn in group stage with a club like Olympiacos, their away game in Greece gives Greeks opportunity of watching them live and it leads to robust culture experience. Now they want to lock star players across just four to six countries, this is sad.

you are wrong.thw allure of playing for ones nation supersedes that. That singular aspect is wielded by the component associations down to FIFA. They would never go along.
