The only thing that has improved in Nigeria since 2015 is Buhari's health.

This is no news and its not surprising. The Great Okonjo Iweala saw it coming over 6 years ago.

This calls for celebration. We making progress.

Diversionary tactics from the ineptitude of APC which borrowed and borrowed more than any other government that had existed in Nigeria and now printing money.

But how is this possible? How much is a barrel of oil?

Before they said it was low oil prices, today prices are more than double what they began with.

In fact, there are so many bank charges, revenue collection methods and taxes that were never there before.

What exactly is going on in this government? Where is all that extra money going to?

If they are truly printing money, is it a wonder there is inflation?

What is the tactics here? That a country that could achieve close to nothing during the rainy days, is now complaining during a drought?

Its not magic or fiction, but a logical analysis. The worst is yet to come.

USA, India, China, Japan and Europe going green, and when this starts materializing, It will only get worse for Nigeria!

Or you will also blame Buhari for not saving during the rainy days? Okonjo knew what she was talking about as at that time.

Because buhari govt has northernlised every sector he brought this very dull finance minister. She just follow the bandwagon without following the ethics of financial discipline if she understands any. She should advice the crazy govt to reduce the cost of running the govt and the implications of taken all those Chinese loans as this will affects future generations. If this loans were taken just for building a modern refinary the issues of false subsidy would taken care of. The citizens are suffering due to low govt revenue as they claimed. It shows that the cbn and the finance minister financial. management capabilities are questionable. Nigeria is sinking and she telling us nonsense here..

grin grin grin wrong person to say that to. PDP is a useless group of people, hence the clamour to get alternative. Sadly, APC is the pro version same set of people with a different branding. Anyone supporting either of them especially when they are paid peanuts need help. But if you're not which is doubtful then it is emergency help. I can only pray for you guys to get just a week visit visa to where things work, only then will you realise that you're just existing in Nigeria while politicians you so defend are living with their families.

Which school did this our Minister of Finance go to?
What financial positions had she occupied prior to now?
Every country is facing tough times no doubt but the pandemic isn't as serious here except what the govt made it out to be.
It's the creativity of responsible leaders that saves a country in times like this. But sadly, all we have as leaders are greedy and corrupt fools.

Six years down this govt has achieved nothing in diversifying the economy, only lip services

FACTS:-

APC is RUNNING A MACBAN'S EXCLUSIVE GOVERNMENT.

MACBAN IS DESPERATELY SELFISH

MACBAN IS INSATIABLY MONOPOLISTIC

MACBAN IS DISCRIMINATING GOVERNMENT OF THE NW.

MACBAN IS HELL BENT ON RIFA-RUGA ISLAMISATION FULANISATION AND ANARCHY TO MAINTAIN SELFISH GOVERNANCE AND ONE THAT WILL SUBJUGATE THE SOUTH OF NIGERIA INTO ABJECT WANTING AND PENURY.

AND NOW, THE MINISTER OF FINANCE AND THE GOVERNOR OF THE CBN DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT. THEY'RE CAMOUFLAGED CONFUSIONISTS WORKING FOR MACBAN.

IN CIVILIZED CLIMES, AND, AT A TIME LIKE THIS, A NATIONAL ECONOMIC COMMISSION, USUALLY GET THE PARTIES TOGETHER TO DETERMINE ISSUES OF MONEY PRINTING FOR SPECIFIC AND GENERAL DEVELOPMENTS.

The subsidy system is a deliberate attempt at scamming Nigerians.
We are they subsidising in the first place? Any govt with foresight knows if we refine locally the price will crash.

Forget it! Buhari can never fight corruption. Corruption has come to stay. Even our daily lives as Nigerian is full of corruption.

Without the two above no sane person will invest in Nigeria. Our leaders lacked creativity. Anything they don't understand, they kill it.

Nigerian inflation sits at 18.17%.

For the last decade, its ranged between around 8% and 18%.

"The Central Bank of Nigeria devalued the currency, the naira, by 24% last year. There are fears of a further fall in value by as much as 10% this year."

OBASEKI JUJU DON CATCH THEM.

When governor Obaseki of Edo state took a part of the meeting he was holding to send a wise counsel to the federal government on positive fiscal planning.

Governors like Bagudu of Kebbi state, the finance minister all denied the factual truth.

Subsidy is why we are not buying fuel at N340 per liter right now.

Before you start, I don't think subsidy is a good thing....because of subsides, refinereis have not been run profitably for decades, which has led to them breaking down, which led to us importing fuel, which we then waste money subsidisng to a level below the cost of producing and importing it.

Removing subsiusides will encourage domestic production, but there would be an increasse in prices first, before it gets better.

Forget it! Buhari can never fight corruption. Corruption has come to stay. Even our daily lives as Nigerian is full of corruption.

Corruption thrives because we don't see it as our problem...we see it as a government problem..and thus look for a superhero to come and save us...

Removign subsidy is a cheap way of attracting investment in the petroleum sector...no price control=greater chances for high profits=more investment,

Poor management

Bro, I don't think so. The economy was not this bad when previous government were owing salary and pension.

The state government could not pay salary the current government have to bail them out.

Then oil revenue were far much better.

But now,
Oil prices are low
Covid 19 factor
Recession. And nobody is being own.

Let's give them a little credit.
