José Mòurinho is arguably one of best manager of his generation. He has the nickname "The Special One". Mòurinho is widely regarded among experts, players and coaches, as one of the best coaches in football.

Here are 5 things you don't about "The Special One" - José Mòurinho.


1.His full name is José Màrio dos Santos Felix Mòurinho born 26 January, 1963 in Setùbal. He is a Portuguese and the current manager of Tottenham Hotspur.


2. Mòurinho started out as a player but he was unable to forge a meaningful career in the game and eventually switched to management. After spell working as an assistant manager and a youth team coach in the early 1990s, he become an interpreter for Sir Bobby Robson. There he worked with him at Sporting Clube De Portugal and Porto in Portugal, before following him to Spanish club Barcelona. He remained in thr Catalonia club after Robson's departure and worked with the successor, Louis Van Gaal.


3. José Mòurinho got an impressive with brief but successful managerial position at Benfica and Uniào de Leina. He returned to Porto in 2002, this time as head coach, winning the primeira Liga, Taça de Portugal, and UEFA Cup in 2003. In 2004 Mòurinho guided the team to the tip of the league for a second time and won the highest honor in European club football, the UEFA Champions League.


4. Mòurinho moved to Chelsea, and won two FA Premier League Cup (2004/05, 2005/06), one FA Community Shield in 2005, two Football League Cup in 2004/05 and 2006/07, also winning a FA Cup in 2006/07.

In mid-2008 he made his moved to Italy's Serie A club Internazionale (inter Milan), signing a three years contract. Within three months, he had won his first Italian honour, the Supercoppa Italiana, and completed his first season in Italy winning the Serie A League title. Mòurinho followed on from that the next a season by winning the first treble in Italian history, the Serie A League title, Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League, thus becoming the third manager in football history to win two UEFA Champions League with two different teams, after Ernst Happel and Ottmar Hitzfeld. Due to these achievement, he won the first ever FIFA Ballon d'Or Best Coach Award in 2010.


5. José Mòurinho was the first and only coach to help Manchester United win it first UEFA Europa League, winning also the FA Cup.


6. José Mòurinho is apparently the most sacked Coach in the history of football. Believe it or not, with the recent sack by Tottenham Hotspur, Mòurinho is now jobless, with people speculating he might not get a job offer from bigger teams again.
