Violence In The North Is Motivated By Greed Not Religion Or Tribalism. by EnitanRot: 2:51am On Apr 21, 2011
The current violence in the north has nothing to do with religion or tribalism. It is about feeding fat the insatiable greed of the same clique of Politricktsers responsible for Nigeria’s underdevelopment for decades.
Like mushrooms that thrive amidst waste and decay, this clique need to keep Nigeria chaotic and under developed so, they can continue robbing the nation with impunity. Notice none of their ill-gotten wealth has been put towards industry, job creation or anything productive. They spend it on luxury items, praise singers, sycophants, and other trappings of success but not on legitimate income generating ventures.  With such a lavish lifestyle, the stolen money disappears quickly hence the need to get back into power and steal again.
People’s character does not change. An armed robber will rob people any chance he gets. It does not matter if he wears Agbada, Army uniform, Imam’s turban or a bishop’s robe. He will do what comes to him naturally – steal kill and destroy. Think of any wuruwuru person you knew growing up. Has that person changed into a trustworthy person or have they gotten worse over the years?  These Politricktsers are no different.
Finally, Nigerians sent them a message through the ballot. They said ENOUGH! They ignored tribal and religious lines and voted for a man from one of the minority tribes because he was the only candidate capable of beating the clique of politrictskters.
The Politricksters reached into their old bag of tricks and brought out the same old tricks (thugs, religion and tribalism) they have played for decades.
What needs to happen is for Jonathan Good luck to send them a clear and powerful message. Send out the police en mass to quell the riots. Round up their financiers. Charge them with the murder of the youth corpers and every one else killed in the riots. Use them to set an example of what will happen to you if you finance or partake in a riot that results in the death of fellow Nigerians.  See, these people have never been held accountable for anything. So they believe it is their God given right to steal kill and destroy. Fact of the matter is they are really cowards. When they realize that they will personally suffer for the pain and destruction they caused, they will fall in line and behave or flee the country to eat in peace the money they already stole.
These people view gentility and civility as weakness and stupidity.  They think Jonathan is a Mugu and treat him with total disregard.  How he responds to this crisis will confirm or disprove their opinion of him. A weak response will embolden them to increase their antics. A clear and decisive response will generate respect for his person, his office and reassure the general populace and the international community at large that Nigerians voted into office a true leader.

No.
I think the north is motivated by wickedness.
The most dangerous wicked man is one that is also poor.
We have poor people in southern Nigeria, yet they don't rise up against non-indigenes to massacre them.

Have you ever seen a southern tribe or group killing a pregnant settler, cutting open the guts and killing the baby too? I don't think so.

This is about being wicked. That's all.

How can any normal person live with such wicked people?

Oh, it's motivated by greed.
Ok, I guess we should not worry anymore. That makes everything okay.
