National union of Bauchi state students NUBASS has impeached the national president comrade Abdulrahman Shuaibu over abuse of office

This followed the resolution reached during a congress of the senate, coordinators and order stake holders of the union.

Addressing journalists at the end of the meeting, the senate president of the union, Comrade Aliyu Isma'il Said the impeached president was allegedly involved in misappropriation of funds and mismanagement.

He added that the union observed that such actions was against the constitution of the national body of the union, hence the need for his impeachment.

The senate has during the meeting confirmed Comrade Sagir Haruna as the acting National president of the union.

Reacting on the development, the impeached president of the union Comrade Abdulrahman Shuaibu denied the allegations saying that the act was unconstitutional.

Comrade Abdulrahman Shuaibu said the allegations was aimed at sabotaging his leadership efforts in bringing sanity to the union.
