Ed Woodward has resigned from his role as Manchester United executive vice chairman because of the European Super League situation. Woodward’s association with the Red Devils began in 2005 when he acted as an adviser to help the Glazers buy the club. Woodward was planning to step down at the end of the season but has decided to go now amid huge outrage over the club’s involvement in the proposed Super League. #MUFC
