Powerful APC Chieftains That May Join PDP Before 2023 by SibaKeAkwaibom: 6:39am On Apr 21, 2021
Following the crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, over who will be given the party's presidential ticket in 2023, some bigwigs have already nurtured plans to join PDP, should incase the dice roles against them.

Some of these Chieftains of the ruling political party who in 2015, were founding members of the APC, have felt sidelined in the present led Federal Government, and they may be forced to believe that time will come where they will be left with no option than to do the unimaginable so as to remain relevance in the politicking of the country. Some of these people whom we believe will join the opposition, Peoples Democratic party, PDP, are:

1- Alhaji Bola Tinubu.

The Jagaban of Western Politics as fondly called, was one of the founding members of APC, and he worked relentlessly towards the emergence of President Mohammadu Buhari in 2015 and 2019 respectively.

When his going with the presidency and the cartel was good, Jagaban was considered as the political leader of APC. Then, he was the only decision making body of the party, and whenever he says one should be thrown out of the government, same will happen without hesitation: Babajide Sanwo Olu was made to succeed Ambode because Jagaban was in loggerhead with the former, but today, the coin has turned to his side also.

Bola Tinubu is currently facing series of castigation by angry Nigerians, and the way events are unfolding daily, it seems EFCC will soon invite him for interrogations.

Apart from his personal transactions being leaked on social media platforms, the case of two bullion vans driving into his Lagos residence is about to be refreshed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The worst is that he is yet to recover from the shock prior to his asserts that were put ablaze by angry Nigerians during the Endsars protest sometime last year.

According to reliable information gathered, it is believed all these are setup plots by the cartel in the Presidency to thwart Jagaban's 2023 presidential ambition, owing to the fact that he is the leading and powerful contender from the South. It is also believed that the cartel do not want him, because they perceive that it won't be able for them to control him if he succeeds.

Knowing his fate, Bola Tinubu will be left with no option than to join force with PDP to ensure that the cartel does not succeed in keeping a weakling from South as the President.

2- Rotimi Amaechi

He is the current Minister of Transportation, and one of the key players of APC that worked for the emergence of President Buhari in 2015.

Rotimi Amaechi, a blunt and determined person, in 2015, had worked against his inlaw, former President Goodluck Jonathan from winning his second term election. It is a known fact how the former governor of Rivers State had used all the resources in his possession to fund Buhari's campaign and election, but he was lucky that just like gambling, the plan clicked for him.

In a leaked interview with him in 2019, Rotimi Amaechi was heard saying that President Buhari does not listen. He also said that the president does not care how many Nigerians die a day, but the moment a cow dies, Buhari will react.

Oga Amaechi is also among the contenders for the APC 2023 presidential slot. The odd against him is that Goodluck Jonathan who was president before Buahri is from South South, and it's not possible for another Niger Deltan to emerge in 2023. But knowing too well who Amaechi is, he would not want to consider this factor and other factors, he will dare everyone to ensure he contest. If he finds out that there are great forces against him, he will be left with no option than to cross carpet to PDP.

Already, Amaechi has been accused for working with the incumbent governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike to stop APC from participating in the just concluded Rivers local Government Polls. If this allegation is true, then Amaechi maybe preparing his way back to his former party, PDP to support anyone he feels would be able to win whosoever the cartel presents.

3- Adams Oshiomole

As everyone knows, all is not well with the defunct Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomole.

Oshiomole who was removed as the National Chairman of APC by the Court, had also lost his state to PDP. His fight with the incumbent governor of Edo State, Dr. Goodwin Obaseki, had led to APC's poor outing during the last Edo elections.

After the election, it was said that Oshiomole's inability to make maintain Edo State clearly signifies his political death. Since then, he was suspended from the party, and he hasn't been seen attending any meeting not until few weeks ago.

Having perceived that his ousting from the party's number one position was orchestrated by the cartel who believed he was using the office to mobilize support for Tinubu's 2023 presidential ambition, Oshiomole will do everything possible to show them that he is still active politically. This he can only do by joining force with others who will defect to PDP in coming days.

Having settled his differences with his predecessor, Godwin Obaseki, Oshiomole has prepared his path for a safe landing to PDP alongside Tinubu, Amaechi and others.

4- Governor Kayode Fayemi

Governor Fayemi who was suspended from APC shortly after the Edo gubernatorial election, was accused for anti-party activities. The allegation against him was that he supported his colleague, Gov. Goodwin Obaseki to emerge winner of the Edo election against the interest of his party.

Fayemi, who's also a strong loyalist of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is allegedly reported to be having meetings with key members of PDP. With his closeness with Godwin Obaseki, Uche Secondus, Nyesom Wike, Udom Emmanuel and other top members of PDP, it is believed that the Ekiti governor will join his friends in PDP in days to come.

In your dreams
These men rather retire from Politics to joining PDP.
PDP should be wise enough not to accept them as they leave desolation and discomfort wherever they find themselves.
