Not a few people often argue that Nigeria will not break up. They are so optimistic to the extent they always give reasons why it will not break up. However, contrary to such hardline stance, unfolding events have proven that Nigeria is apparently living in its last years as one nation. If anyone still had doubts before, the recent move by UK to recognize the separatists is enough to convince you where the pendulum is swinging.

In Africa, South Africa, Nigeria and Egypt are no doubt UK's most important former colonies. They will do everything diplomatically possible to maintain good relations with these countries.

UK is a very cunning country, they have seen that Nigeria is on the verge of breaking up and they decided to be proactive by recognizing the separatists. If you think UK didn't weigh things critically before embarking on this diplomatic attack on Nigeria, then you're not using your head.

UK has become completely fed up with Nigeria and having weighed their options to see that Nigeria is headed for the rocks, they decided to hit Nigerian government this deadly blow without minding how bad the government will feel.

What the UK did is tantamount to China going all out to encourage South Korea, without minding how North Korea will feel or Russia recognizing Taiwan and opening diplomatic relations with them without minding how their Chinese friends will feel.

This move alone should convince anyone who thinks critically that Nigeria is about to unravel. If the UK can make such bold move against the Nigerian government, then it is not farfetched that they may wake up tomorrow and rally the international community to call for a referendum on Nigeria.

correct

It is such a deadly blow that Lai Mohamed cried it was below the belt

What that move means is that UK supports the break away groups

The break away group especially Ipob would have the impetus to keep hitting the government hard

This government that only knows the use of force would retaliate and UK would be dragging itself in

They would first begin with sanctions, you don't expect Democrat led USA not to join UK just like endsars

This nation is on its last breath

Nigeria govt shot itself in the leg when it went on using military aircraft bombing villages in the eastern region lately, not to forget when they went on absorbing bokoharam/bandits into the Nigerian army, I watched how ipob made sure the international communities got whined of all this that will clip the Nigerian govt wings in time to come.

And now UK having seen the high discipline exhibited by the ESN a covert Biafra vigilante militia, and the latest upper punch " the Alliance with the Amazonians. Britain quickly switched alliance.

My take if handlers of Nigerian govt are wise, they should quickly call for dialogue. And wise Nigerians should start documenting their properties now.

runs to next thread..

He ordered no police checkpoints in d East, today d Ag IGP has made it d new directive.
Nnamdi Kanu ordered Ohanaeze must not hold an open meeting in d South East today no such and their last assembling was in Lagos.
Nnamdi Kanu challenged Wike that he will bring him down today Wike has admitted he doesn't sleep in Govt House but runs btw his private residence along Ada George Rd and Army Bori camp.
Nnamdi Kanu pronounced Isa Funtua was next and in just few days d man joined the death list.
As it stands d plebiscite would be d next earth shaking intervention from this unholy marriage sponsors

You don't know anything about International politics. Do you know what UK Government has contributed to Nigeria Security forces this Year alone?. Breaking Nigeria is not as easy as you think.

Nope. They can't reap where they didn't sow. They were against secession all over on social media. Even supported python dance and made mockery of those young men lying in dirt. They need to do their own blood sacrifice, Igbos have paid theirs.

The UK giving IPOB terrorists asylum does not imply Nigeria will break up, any more than the UK granting Hong Kong activist Nathan Law asylum means China will break up.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/09/china-blasts-uk-asylum-hong-kong-nathan-law

You truly overestimate the power of the UK.

They are just one fcking HAS BEEN colonial power of yesteryear, with no influence over any sovereign nation of Nigeria's status.

If the NIGERIAN GOVT says no part of Nigeria shall secede, THAT'S THE END OF THAT, whatever Britain thinks.

If you want to go to war, make we fight, and we shall turn the East to a parking lot.

If you think Britain will send her soldiers to fight and die for you, you have another think coming.

If you think Britain will send you weapons to fight Nigeria, you are the most deluded goat on the planet.

Mumu people. Dependent, colonised, and slave-minded.

Waiting on your slave master to save you from his own creation.

If you people had basic geopolitical common sense, you would be seeking alliances with nations like North Korea, Iran and Cuba, not Britain.

Those are the sort of rebel, anti-imperialist nations that do 'freedom fighting'.

That do surreptitious armaments shipments and stockpiling.

That send mercenaries to fight for freedom.

When Angola was fighting for freedom, they built alliances with Fidel Castro's Cuba, who sent in military assistance to the MPLA who fought against the western-backed UNITA forces that supported the status quo.

The Angolans understood geopolitics.

But you 'Biafrans'? Dumb as bricks.

Like Ojukwu, you foolishly go crawling to the same imperialists that enslaved and colonised you and raped your mothers, expecting them to be 'good' to you this time.

Britain is likely just setting you guys up for another slaughter.

This was the same way France deceived Ojukwu, and pretended to support 'Biafra'.

When push came to shove they refused to supply weapons to Biafra, and you were left to fight with cutlass and catapult and your primitive Ogbunigwe.

This time you will fight with sticks and stones and lose 10 million people instead of the usual 2 million.

Geopolitical neophytes.

Now I understand that Igbos are not smart in the game of politics, this offer from the UK is a smart move to help the Fulanis to keep dominating, as a typical black man, they know that Igbo youths and many southerners will want to use that opportunity to leave Nigeria thereby creating the Avenue for Fulanis to come in. Fulanis do not travel abroad, they intend to completely fill in every space in Nigeria.
